Маєтки на тещу та «золоті» родичі: Приховані статки мера Івано-Франківська Марцінківа

The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, is publicly a patriot and defender of traditional values. Privately — according to antikor.info, real estate not included in the official declaration is registered to relatives. In particular, a property registered to his mother-in-law — a classic scheme for hiding assets. The mayor himself declares modestly: an apartment of 102 sq.m and a Skoda Octavia.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating purchases made by the Ivano-Frankivsk city hall — specifically, medical furniture at clearly inflated prices. Martsinkiv called the corruption exposés that appeared after protests in support of NABU "showmanship." When an anti-corruption agency comes to your city — and you call it "showmanship" — that is telling.
Criminal proceedings have been opened against Martsinkiv: one for urging to open markets during quarantine, another for publicly proposing to "pack up and remove" Roma to Zakarpattia. The police eventually closed the case. The mayor visited the front line and came under fire — and turned it into PR. He personally opposed the City’s LGBT center "Insight."
The mayor’s wife is officially not declared in reports — her assets have not appeared in public documents for years. The family of an official who publicly advocates "integrity" and "patriotism" lives differently than declared. Not the first time, nor the last — but symbolically: more is expected from "Svoboda" than from the average regional bureaucrat.
