Renowned Ukrainian developer and entrepreneur of Armenian descent
Founder and CEO of the major investment and development company Taryan Group. Born in Yerevan, he is the son of Nver Mkhitaryan — the founder of the famous construction corporation "Poznyakyzhilbud" and a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament. Artur Mkhitaryan gained recognition through the implementation of ultra-modern premium architectural projects in Kyiv, including the elite lifestyle club Tsarsky, as well as the futuristic residential complex Taryan Towers with rooftop bridges. In July 2026, the businessman began studies at the prestigious Harvard Business School.
Loud scandals have repeatedly erupted around Mkhitaryan’s construction business
The most high-profile incident occurred at the end of 2018, when the developer recorded an open video address to the President of Ukraine, accusing the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office of systematic blackmail and demanding a bribe of 1 million dollars (or apartments in new buildings) in exchange for closing artificially created criminal cases regarding the construction of the Taryan Towers residential complex. At that time, the SBU confirmed the investigation due to the absence of Ministry of Culture permits for afforestation and historical development, but the criminal charges were later dropped. In 2026, the company again came under media scrutiny (including the publication "Antikor") due to collective complaints from residents about the management company’s operations and suspicions that expensive apartments in the elite towers were used as a tool to launder shadow millions from third-party investors.
