Military-political expert and media commentator without specialized military education

Positions himself as a military-political expert; by education — a lawyer. Claims to have been engaged in military topics since 2016. From 2021 to 2022, he was a member of the political council of the party "Strength and Honor" led by Ihor Smeshko. Since 2021, he has regularly appeared on Ukrainian TV channels and runs his own YouTube channel. After February 24, 2022, his popularity as a commentator sharply increased. He heads the "Center for Military-Legal Studies" — a structure that practically lacks public reporting and financial transparency.

Legal, not military education — and absence of verified combat experience

Despite media activity, Musiyenko does not have verified military education or confirmed experience of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other law enforcement agencies. The CHESNO movement and a number of journalists have documented that the "Center for Military-Legal Studies" is effectively a sole media project without clear criteria of expertise. No public corruption scandals or criminal proceedings involving him have been recorded. The main criticism concerns the discrepancy between his positioning as a "military expert" and the lack of confirmed professional qualifications.
