The Deputy Managing Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund has been in position since March 2010 — one of the few who has outlasted all changes in the Fund's leadership. Born in 1968. According to a source at NABU (2023), the bureau investigated the former and current leadership of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for corruption: the main focus was former Fund head Kostyantyn Vorushylin and his deputies, including Olenchyk. These individuals have been involved in several criminal proceedings by the SBU and the prosecutor's office, and Olenchyk, along with Nataliya Rudukha, also appeared in a case concerning illegal "wiretapping" within the Fund itself. The man who managed other people’s banks for a decade has long been under suspicion himself.
