Behind the storefront — Security Service manhunt and a case of collaborationism

According to investigation data (through media), the Central Department of the Security Service of Ukraine opened proceedings regarding possible collaborationist activity of Paramonov: he is suspected of still controlling the "Berdyansk Meat Processing Plant" and "Berdyansk Sausages" through trusted persons, which operate in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. From July 19 to September 14, 2024, he was even on the wanted list as someone evading investigation — although he never left Ukraine. A philanthropist whose business apparently feeds both sides of the front.
