Counterintelligence officer - the "man without a photo" who led the SBI for six months
A lawyer from Kharkiv, a graduate of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy (2006), candidate of legal sciences. Career in law enforcement and fiscal agencies: SBU of Kharkiv region (counterintelligence), tax administration (Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv), senior investigator of the Main Department of the State Fiscal Service in Kharkiv region. At the beginning of 2020, he moved to Kyiv as deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation; on 17.03.2020, after Iryna Venediktova transitioned to Prosecutor General, he became acting head of the SBI. In September 2020, he ceded the position to Oleksii Sukhachov and returned to the role of deputy director.

Publicly hidden: journalists ("Observer", Channel 5) noted a lack of photos and opacity. According to the 2019 declaration, total assets (over 4 million UAH) were approximately five times higher than declared income (~762 thousand UAH).
Property registered to relatives and connection with Venediktova
Expensive housing is registered to his pensioner mother (an apartment of 171 m²) and his father — head of the classified department of Kharkiv metro; the cars he used (Audi A6/Q3) were not listed among family members. Through his wife Hanna’s business, journalists traced a connection with his then superior Venediktova.
