A lawyer from Kyiv (born 1982), graduate of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Yale World Fellows scholarship recipient. Defended Maidan activists, worked in the law firm "Solodko and Partners." MP of the VIII convocation (2014–2019) from "Samopomich" (No. 11): secretary of the Committee on European Integration, first deputy chair of the PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, co-author of laws on the judiciary, European integration, and the High Anti-Corruption Court. Initiated a temporary investigative commission regarding the attack on Handziuk. In PACE, opposed Russia’s return to the Assembly; was included in Moscow's sanctions list. In 2019, ran unsuccessfully from Smeshko's "Strength and Honor" party.
Husband and the "Donetsk" connection
Her husband is analyst Anatoliy Amelin (co-founder of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, former member of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market Regulation). According to the "Nashi Groshi" project (2014), he was previously co-founder of LLC "Stolichny Style" together with Oleksandr Yanukovych and Donetsk businessmen. This is her husband's past, not hers. She had the image of one of the most "euro-optimistic" deputies.
