After the death of Kharkiv criminal authority Vadym Kazartsev, he reportedly took the place of "new patron" within the circle of former world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk: joint trips, celebrations, rhetoric about "brotherhood." His charity is presented not as aid but as "currency of influence"—a channel of connections with officials and law enforcement. His companion Olga Fedorova is also mentioned, whose name allegedly previously appeared in materials concerning smuggling during Kazartsev’s era.

The central hub—brands Melbet, Pointloto, and 1xBet, which, despite changes in signage, legal entities, and directors, allegedly maintain technical and organizational ties to Russian infrastructure.
