Odessa tech retailer with 4 billion UAH revenue: war with Korban, bankruptcy, NABU case for 575 million, and change of owner

The electronics retail chain was founded in 2000 in Odessa by Hryhoriy Topal and Dmytro Zinchenko. As of June 2026, it has 48 stores (~23,000 m²), revenue of 4 billion UAH for 2025 (YouControl), operating through LLC "Importmax".

In 2020, a conflict erupted between the co-founders: Zinchenko accused Topal of attempting to take over the business. In 2021, Hennadiy Korban joined the dispute by purchasing 50% of "ZT-Invest" — the then-key legal entity of the group. In 2023, the Commercial Court of Odessa region declared "ZT-Invest" bankrupt. Korban-linked "Gadget Trading" attempted to recover about 400 million UAH from the group; the cassation was left without action. The citrus.ua domain was lost by the chain due to a court ruling and was only returned at the end of May 2026, having operated for several years through ctrs.ua.

NABU investigated "Gadget Trading" for tax evasion amounting to 575 million UAH. In summer 2025, the chain was bought from Topal by Zaporizhzhia businessman Artur Hatunok (owner of Yabluka, former regional council deputy from "UKROP") — according to Forbes, for $10–20 million.
