The State Guard Administration of Ukraine (SDO) is a special-purpose state law enforcement agency that provides security for government bodies, officials, and state-important facilities. The main task of the SDO is to guarantee the safety of the President of Ukraine, state leadership, official delegations, and strategically important sites. The agency operates in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, Ukrainian laws, and regulatory acts in the field of state security and protection.
The powers of the State Guard Administration include ensuring the personal security of officials, guarding administrative buildings of government bodies, participating in measures against terrorist threats, and organizing security during official state events. The SDO cooperates with law enforcement agencies, military structures, and special services to coordinate security measures and respond promptly to potential threats.
