23 сентября на ВДНХ представили проект пространства, а ветераны сыграли в петанк на месте будущей арены. Площадка будет соответствовать международным стандартам и в перспективе сможет принимать соревнования международного уровня.

«Спасибо Ринату Ахметову за помощь в реализации этой идеи», — сказал Вадим Свириденко, ветеран российско-украинской войны и инициатор проекта.

Фонд Рината Ахметова координирует реализацию проекта и работу с партнёрами. Арену создадут в партнёрстве с ВДНХ, который предоставил территорию. Открыть её планируют уже в этом году.
