"Ukrainian Unites": Zelensky congratulated [on] the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language

Thousands of Ukrainians wrote today’s Radio Dictation of National Unity. People in different corners of Ukraine, of different ages, absolutely different professions and viewpoints.

And all of this together is much more than a flash mob or an event. It is actually about a critically important capability of our language.

Ukrainian unites.

No matter how hard the enemy tries to erase this language, it is alive, it is strong, and it is active.

It unites our people as it did in the past, as it does now. And we must do everything so that it will be so in the future.

The Ukrainian language now is much more than a means of communication. It is the language of courage, the language of dignity, the language of the struggle for life that Ukrainians carry out every day.

Thank you to everyone who defends and preserves the Ukrainian — in themselves, in their children, in our common future.
