Russia struck a railway station in Lozova: there are victims

"The enemy attacked the railway station in Lozova with an unmanned aerial vehicle. At this time, two men are known to be killed. 8 people were injured: 5 men and three women. Among them, there are severe injuries," he stated.

According to the head of the regional military administration, medical brigades are providing the necessary assistance, and all emergency services are on site.

Oleksandr Peretsovskyi, head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, informed that the strike hit a wagon near Lozova railway station. He noted that the injured are railway workers.

"At this practically front-line station, there are two shelters; a third was added. Heightened danger and evacuation were announced in advance. All details to follow," Peretsovskyi added.

Also, Ukrzaliznytsia stated that the station building, contact network, and rolling stock were damaged as a result of the attack.

"Currently, train traffic to and from Lozova station is temporarily suspended. Passengers currently bound for Lozova are asked to monitor individual alerts in the application," the message reads.

Hits on the railway — what is known

As UNIAN reported, after yesterday night attack by the enemy in the Brovary district of Kyiv region, bodies of killed people were found on a railway platform.

As explained by the railway workers, during the massive combined attack by Russian occupiers, train movement and station operations were suspended; station personnel and train passengers were evacuated.

Vitalii Bihun, head of the Brovary district state administration, stated that at night at the Kvitenva station people did not reach their train because it was delayed during the Russian attack. It is known now about eight victims.
