Illicit enrichment of 13,9 million UAH: suspicion against former vice prime minister — minister of justice

NABU and SAP have notified a suspicion against the former vice prime minister — minister of justice for illicit enrichment of more than 13,9 million UAH and false asset declaration. Reports the press service of NABU.

According to the investigation, the individual owned two apartments in the Faina Town residential complex (registered to a friend) worth almost 11 million UAH.

The suspect also used, at various times, assets registered in the names of close persons:

an apartment in the Kyiv business-class residential complex Lvivska Square (registered to her mother);

a parking space and several non-residential premises in the same complex (registered to her father);

a Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d car (registered to a subordinate).

The official did not declare information about these assets.

In addition, she negotiated the purchase of a house near Kyiv with an estimated price of 550 thousand USD. Under the plan, 250 thousand USD were to be paid in cash, and the remainder by transferring to the seller the two aforementioned apartments in Faina Town. However, the government official withdrew from the deal, likely due to an appointment to a diplomatic post abroad.

The suspect’s official income did not allow her to acquire such property. From the beginning of 2024 to mid-2025 she earned about 3,7 million UAH. Meanwhile, approximately 4,2 million UAH was spent from her bank accounts alone.

Qualification: Art. 368-5 and part 2 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

At present, a preventive measure of 6 million UAH bail has been imposed on the suspect.
