Natalia: We have received an instruction from the head of government

The State Property Fund has begun an audit of warehouse facilities of state enterprises to identify facilities that can be transferred to companies affected by Russian shelling. This was reported by the head of the fund, Dmytro Natalyukha, during a media briefing, as reported by Glavkom.

According to Natalyukha, this concerns several hundred thousand square meters of potentially available warehouse space. "But in reality, all of this must be physically checked, the condition assessed, and the actual availability of these spaces for handover to business determined. Because on paper it’s one thing, and in reality it may be completely different," he added.

The head of the Fund emphasized that next week he will go to the regions for inspection, to study the situation, to verify these assets and the available rental space.

The State Property Fund is also working on determining the legal model—how these spaces will be handed over for use by businesses.

"We have received an instruction from the head of government. We have been working on it since yesterday. We understand the whole complexity of the situation. Our task is to create standard conditions. This is an auction for renting. This will be the fastest. There is also an option: transfer of warehouse spaces to any state company for 1 UAH per month with the possibility of subleasing to private companies. We will work on the mechanics; we don’t have a decision yet," Natalyukha said.

Recall that on the night of 5 August, Russia launched a massive strike on Kyiv and the region, directing ballistic and cruise missiles at civilian logistics infrastructure. Facilities of at least 12 major brands, companies, and manufacturing were damaged.

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the main target of the attack was warehouse facilities of civilian enterprises; there were also strikes on infrastructure, a railway station. Objects not related to the war: a brewery, warehouses of construction materials, civilian logistics.
