Exchange rates 8 August 2026: how much the dollar, euro, and zloty cost

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has published the official exchange rates for Saturday morning, 8 August 2026 of the year. Compared with 7 August, the official rates for the US dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty, and Swiss franc have not changed. This is reported by “Hlavkom.”

The regulator set the official dollar rate at 44,76, euro at 51,67 UAH, and Polish zloty at 12,01 UAH.

Over the week, the US dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty, and Swiss franc have risen in value.

As a side note, the National Bank of Ukraine approved a broad update of rules for the insurance sector. The regulator revised the process of authorizing insurance intermediaries in the specialized Register, and also adjusted requirements for selling insurance and reinsurance products. The new measures are intended to remove bureaucratic obstacles, address existing practical difficulties, and significantly reduce the administrative burden on business.

By the way, from September 4 of 2026 the National Bank of Ukraine will put into circulation a new banknote with a denomination of 2 thousand Hryvnias. Danilo Hetmanets, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax, and customs policy, commented on the possible impact of introducing the new note into circulation.
