According to the president of Serbia, Belgrade supports the territorial integrity of all UN members

Serbia consistently supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the limits defined by the UN Charter, without any reservations or compromises on this principle. As reported by Glavcom, this was stated by Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić at a press conference after his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“We discussed various topics. And what seems most important to me is that Serbia and I, as president of Serbia, emphasize that we support the UN Charter, UN resolutions, and that means the territorial integrity of all UN members, which also means the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Vučić noted.

He added that Serbia will continue to adhere to this “principled” position, without any “buts” or compromises on the matter. In his words, he states this clearly and decisively.

“On our part, we will continue this principled policy—there are no ‘buts’ in this matter. I say this very clearly and decisively now, just as I said it before,” he added.

As reported, during the press conference Vučić made a grim forecast about the war in Ukraine. He expressed concern that a difficult winter may lie ahead not only for Ukraine but for other countries as well.

Recall that Zelenskyy visited Serbia for the first time during his term. The countries signed a memorandum on cooperation in the fields of animal health and food safety.
