SBS struck S-400 “Triumph” in Gelendzhik and three vessels of Russia’s shadow fleet in the Black Sea – Brovdi – Center for Investigative Journalism

Ukraine’s Armed Forces Unmanned Systems Forces struck three surface-to-air missile systems in Russia on the night of 9 August, including an S-400 “Triumph” in Gelendzhik, two radar stations, and three more vessels of Russia’s shadow fleet in the Black Sea.

This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, on social media.

According to him, on the night of 8 to 9 August on Russian territory the Unmanned Systems Forces struck in Gelendzhik in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai the S-400 “Triumph” surface-to-air missile system, which on 8 August from 9:25 to 12:51 launched six missiles at the territory of Ukraine.

In addition, he added, the following were also struck:

TOR SAM system, Pudovyi khutor, Rostov region, Russia;

Pantsir-S1 air defense system, the city of Yeisk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia;

Podlyot-K1 radar, Holovativka village, Rostov region, Russia;

Kasta 2E2 radar, Latonovo village, Rostov region, Russia;

one oil tanker, Black Sea waters;

two general cargo vessels, Black Sea waters.

As the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, during 1–8 August SBS units struck a further 12 vessels of the Russian shadow fleet in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
