Russians continue to attack civilian energy infrastructure facilities. As a result of shelling by morning on 10 August there are new outages in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

The most difficult situation remains in Odesa region, where restoration works continue after the massive attack in the night from Sunday, as stated by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

A significant portion of consumers has already been powered. However, during the last day the enemy carried out new attacks again.

The application of restrictions as of the morning 10 August is not forecast. But the situation in the power system can change. In particular, any changes are announced on official resources.

At the same time, active energy consumption today is advised to be postponed. Specifically, to daytime hours—from 10:00 to 16:00. In addition, in Odesa region there remains a need for economical energy consumption to avoid overloading equipment.

As stated by Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has decreased. On Monday, 10 August, as of 09:30, it was 16,7% lower than at the same time on Friday. The reason for the changes are weather conditions—the decline in heat and clear weather across almost all of Ukraine.

Recall that Russia attacks the energy sector differently. For example, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion the enemy launched one target with 3– 4 drones. But now it can attack even 25 drones at once.

Denys Shmyhal warned that Ukraine may endure the hardest winter in all years of the full-scale war. In particular, the Russians have already damaged or destroyed more than 80% of Ukrainian generating capacity.
