In Zaporizhzhia, the number of injured rose after the strike with KAB bombs

In Zaporizhzhia, 24 people increased the number of those injured as a result of the Russian strike with guided aerial bombs. Among them is a 10-year-old child who is in serious condition and was hospitalized.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, cited by News.LIVE.

What are the consequences of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

As a result of the strike, a five-story building, a private household, and cars were damaged. Fires also occurred — the roof of the apartment building and four cars were burning, though rescuers have now extinguished the conflagration.

Because of the Russian attack, about 7,5 thousand consumers remained without electricity. Emergency crews are working on the scene, with the aim of restoring power supply under a stable security situation.

Law enforcement officers have opened a criminal proceeding over the fact of war crime. All circumstances of the attack are being established.

At the same time, residents of Zaporizhzhia region were warned about the threat of the use of KABs by Russian troops and activity of the enemy tactical aviation.

As News.LIVE reported, on the night of 5 August, Russian forces attacked a children's hospital in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, ophthalmology, surgical, and trauma departments were damaged, but among children, medical staff, and other personnel there were no injuries.

Also, News.LIVE reported that during the attack on Zaporizhzhia in August, 4, the blast wave damaged the facade, windows, and certain premises of the regional children's clinical hospital. Most patients and medical staff at the time of the strike were in shelters.
