New Safety Rules for Gas Stations Being Prepared in Kyiv Region

In Kyiv region, new safety rules for gas stations are being prepared. The region aims to introduce automatic alarm notification, update protocols for staff, and improve access to shelters.

Primarily, this concerns the implementation of automated alerting systems and protocols of actions for gas station personnel after receiving an air-raid signal. Separately, participants discussed the problem of abandoned cars on the premises of gas stations. Such vehicles obstruct evacuation routes, hinder access to hydrants, and impede the passage of emergency vehicles. Specific decisions on this issue are planned to be brought to the next meeting of the Kyiv region Defense Council.
