"Ukrposhta" will install 1 000 outdoor parcel lockers: how to apply for installation

The national postal operator Ukrposhta has begun manufacturing and installing the first thousand new street parcel terminals. The project partner is Modern-Expo, one of the Ukrainian leaders in postal equipment.

This was reported by Delo.ua, citing a statement by Ukrposhta's general director, Ihor Smilyanskyi.

According to him, the new devices will combine the functionality of a parcel terminal with a traditional mailbox. This will allow customers not only to receive packages but also to send letters immediately.

Where the first parcel terminals will be installed

In the first stage, the company is looking for suitable locations in large cities of Ukraine, in particular Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, and other regional centers.

Ukrposhta invites collaboration:

representatives of HOA associations (OSBB);

managing companies;

housing developers (residential complexes, RCs).

To propose a location near your building, you need to submit an application on the company's official website. After that, specialists will inspect the site, agree on technical details, and sign an installation contract.

The company adds that the first thousand street parcel terminals are only the beginning of a large-scale network expansion. In the future, Ukrposhta plans to continue its own procurement and also integrate parcel terminals from partner companies for parcel delivery.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ukrposhta has deployed a network of internal parcel terminals in 15 regions. Currently, more than 370 storage compartments for quick pick-up are in operation at the company's branches across the country.
