Exchange rates 15 August 2026: how much the dollar, euro and zloty cost

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) published the official exchange rates for the morning of Saturday, 15 August 2026. Compared with 14 August, the official rate did not change. This was reported by "Hlavkom".

The regulator set the dollar at 44,69, the euro at 51,61 UAH, and the Polish zloty at 11,99 UAH.

Over the week, the US dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty, and Swiss franc rose in price.

By the way, the National Bank of Ukraine approved a large-scale update of rules for the insurance sector. The regulator revised the procedure for authorizing insurance intermediaries in the specialized Register, and also adjusted requirements for selling insurance and reinsurance products. The innovations are intended to remove bureaucratic obstacles, resolve existing practical difficulties, and significantly reduce administrative pressure on business.

Incidentally, from 4 September 2026 the National Bank of Ukraine will issue a new banknote with a denomination of 2 thousand UAH. The chair of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, commented on the possible impact of introducing the new banknote into circulation.
