Service members of the 121 Territorial Defense Brigade who earlier complained about shortages of water, food, and rotations have been left without contact with the outside world. Their relatives report this.

This was reported by Suspilne, citing the relatives of the service members.

According to the sister of fire-support platoon commander Anatoliy Sashchuk, Tetiana Kravchuk, there has been no contact with the soldiers since 11 August. She claims that the fighters had their Starlink taken away and were ordered to use only field radios.

“Our relatives warned us that this could happen — that communications would be cut. This is done deliberately so that no more information spreads... The command is afraid of even greater publicity. That is why they resort to such measures,” Kravchuk wrote.

She says the problem allegedly concerns not only her brother’s group. Similar situations may arise in other units as well, but service members are afraid to speak about them publicly or are discouraged from making them public.
