In the Kyiv region two attackers beat and robbed a passerby

In the town of Irpin, two young men delivered multiple blows to a man and robbed the victim of his personal belongings. The suspects face up to 10 years in prison.

Police established that the defendants, aged 19 and 21, while near one of the underground pedestrian crossings, decided to rob a passerby. One of the offenders struck the victim in the face with a punch, causing the man to lose balance and fall to the ground. Subsequently, the attackers delivered numerous blows to the victim, taking his smart watch and bag with personal belongings.

While fleeing the scene in a car, the offenders were involved in a traffic accident, colliding with a barrier.

Police detained the defendants pursuant to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed them in a temporary holding facility.

Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Bucha City Prosecutor's Office, informed the offenders of suspicion of robbery committed under martial law conditions, by prior agreement of a group of persons (part 4 of article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation continues.

Additionally, the driver was issued administrative materials (article 124, article 126, and article 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).
