"Ukrposhta" will install 600 parcel lockers in branches by the end of the third quarter

The national postal operator Ukrposhta plans to complete the installation of internal self-service machines at its branches during the third quarter of 2026 year, bringing the total number of pickup points to 600.

This is reported by Delo.ua citing a comment from the company’s CEO Ihor Smilyanskyi to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

According to the head of the company, due to strong demand from customers for self-service, the postal operator is already purchasing additional equipment.

Geography and expansion plans for the network

The project to install self-service devices covers both internal branches and open street space:

Post offices: the service is already operating in 15 regions of the country, where 376 of the planned 600 devices have been installed. In particular, in Kyiv in the second quarter the first 70 of such post machines were launched.

Street post offices: by the end of 2026 year Ukrposhta intends to increase their number to several thousand. In collaboration with manufacturer Modern-Expo, a project to launch the first thousand street kiosks has already begun in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, and other large cities.

Financial result: in the second quarter of 2026 year the company posted a net profit of 296,7 million UAH, versus a loss of 108 million UAH in the same period last year.

In total, the infrastructure of the national operator numbers 7,2 thousand service objects, including 2 thousand mobile branches, which provide connectivity in 21,3 thousand settlements.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ukrposhta would install 1 000 street post machines. The project’s manufacturing and installation partner became the Ukrainian company Modern-Expo.
