Participants of the second summer shift of the "Bloger Camp" of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation completed a career guidance training. Teenagers explored their skills and interests, discussed the differences between hard and soft skills, and the importance of teamwork, listening to others, managing emotions, and resolving conflicts.

The world is changing very dynamically now: some professions disappear forever, others emerge. It is currently impossible to choose one profession once and forever. According to the psychologist, career guidance should start as early as possible. Familiarization with different professions already in elementary school can help children more easily determine their further education and reduce stress during admissions.
"For teenagers 16 years, choosing a future often resembles a crossroads. Our training was not about which exact profession to pick, but about the opportunity to see one’s own strengths, understand in which directions one wants to develop, and reduce anxiety associated with choosing the future," the specialist explained.
She added that modern teenagers are most interested in foreign languages, cybersecurity, IT technologies, and professions related to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Foundation announced that the career guidance direction of the "Bloger Camp" will be developed. The main feature of the next shift, which will take place in the autumn, will be STEM activities that combine science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program provides experiments, practical and team tasks aimed at developing logical thinking, creativity, and skills working with modern technologies.
According to the Foundation, thanks to the program "Rinat Akhmetov – For Children. Peaceful Rest for the Children of Ukraine," more than 5 thousand children from various regions of the country could rest and recover. In total, over the years of the Foundation's work, it has provided aid to more than 6 million Ukrainian children.
