Deferment for Teachers Online: “Reserve+” Launched Beta Test of a New Service

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has begun beta testing a new feature in the Reserve+ app that will allow pedagogical workers to apply for deferral from mobilization online. The system will automatically verify the necessary information in state registries, so users will not need to gather additional documents.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched beta testing of a new service in the Reserve+ app. It is intended for teaching staff and is designed to simplify obtaining a deferral from mobilization.

Teachers and other pedagogical workers of general secondary education institutions will be able to use the new feature. One of the conditions is working at the main place of employment for at least 0,75 of full-time.

When applying for a deferral, the Reserve+ app will automatically verify the necessary information in state registries. This will spare teachers from having to independently collect additional certificates or contact administrative service centers.

Currently the Ministry of Defense invites pedagogical workers who meet the established requirements to join the beta testing of the new service.

After testing is completed, the service is planned to be made available to all pedagogical workers who have the right to a deferral.

Thus, the new Reserve+ feature aims to switch deferral processing for teachers to a fully online format and minimize the need for personal visits to state institutions.

Earlier, StopKor wrote that if information about an active deferral suddenly disappeared in Reserve+, it could be due to technical issues or changes in data in state registries. First, mobilization-duty individuals are advised to update their information in the app, and if that does not help, reapply for deferral online or contact the Center for Administrative Services with confirmatory documents.
