In Zakarpattia a fake mobilization of 329 people was uncovered: five TTC employees received suspicions

In Zakarpattia, law enforcement officers have notified five more employees of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) of suspicion; they are suspected of fictitious mobilization of citizens. Officials entered false information into the "Obereg" system about allegedly drafted people, although in fact those people were not sent to military units.

This was reported on the website of the National Police of Ukraine.

They added that, overall, the investigation identified more than three hundred people with signs of fictitious conscription, including some who were deceased.

According to case materials, earlier in this proceeding the head of one of the district TRSSCs and his deputy were notified of suspicion. In spring, law enforcement exposed a scheme of artificially inflating mobilization figures, within which officials used their own digital signatures to enter data on fictitious conscription into the "Obereg" system.

The mobilization of 162 people was formalized with the chief’s electronic signature, and the deputy’s signature was used for another 108 reservists

"After exposing the center’s leaders, law enforcement continued documenting the case and identified other employees of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center who may have been involved in the criminal scheme. This concerns the head and operators of the mobilization division and the record-keeping group for reserve officers," the report says.

Other TRSSC employees were also involved in the scheme, entering false data into the system about an additional 59 reservists. Thus, the total number of people with signs of fictitious mobilization reached 329 individuals.

With such entries, officials artificially inflated the conscription figures. That is, people were formally considered mobilized and even appeared on military unit lists, although in reality they were not sent to those units.

Five TRSSC employees were notified of suspicion for unauthorized actions with information as part of an organized group (under part 3 of Art. 28, part 3 of Art. 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The head of the center and his deputy are additionally accused of official forgery (under part 3 of Art. 28, part 3 of Art. 362 and part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

"Currently, law enforcement is taking measures to complete the pretrial investigation and to subsequently send the indictment against seven members of the organized group to court," the report states.
