In Odesa, a servicemember of the RTCV beat a 13-year-old boy: police are investigating the incident

Law enforcement officials are establishing the circumstances of the conflict between a RTCK service member and a 13-year-old adolescent, whose video was circulated on social networks.

Odessa police are investigating an incident involving a service member of the district territorial center for recruitment and 13-year-old boy.

Police found the video of the conflict during monitoring of social networks. In the frames, a man in military uniform is seen arguing with a teenager, grabbing him by the clothes, and delivering blows.

Preliminarily, it has been established that the incident occurred several days ago in the Hadzhybey district of Odesa.

Currently, police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, the identities of its participants, and the reasons for the conflict. Law enforcement is also checking the video recording and determining whether there were other participants.

Following the review, a legal assessment of the actions of the involved persons will be provided.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
