У фіналі конкурсу краси "Міс Всесвіт" перемогла 21-річна представниця Данії Вікторія К'єр Тейлвіг. Це перший випадок в історії конкурсу, коли переможницею стала датчанка, а також Вікторія К'єр Тейлвіг стала першою за 8 років конкурсанткою з Європи, яка була удостоєна цього титулу. Першою віце-міс стала представниця Нігерії, другою – учасниця з Мексики.
