Leshenko: Kolomoyskyi has reached an agreement with Akhmetov and is ready to clash with Zelensky

In the near future, oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi may engage in a serious confrontation with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This is written by politician, former MP of the 8th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, Serhiy Leshchenko, on his Telegram channel.

According to him, earlier the Rada passed an important law under which Kyiv will import electricity from Belarus into Ukraine, as a result of which Akhmetov's monopoly on the market will be undermined, and the oligarch himself will be compelled to lower the price.

Notably, deputies who are in Ihor Kolomoyskyi's sphere of influence did not vote for this law. They also did not support the scandalous bill No. 1009, which gives the law enforcement agencies the opportunity to conduct pre-trial investigations without the approval of the Verkhovna Rada.

As Leshchenko notes, "Kolomoyskyi, through his deputies, is sabotaging laws important for President Zelensky" and does not exclude that the Dnipropetrovsk oligarch has struck a deal with his "colleague" Akhmetov and has begun to exact revenge on the president for the removal from the post of head of the State Property Fund of Turbarov – a person close to Kolomoyskyi ally Yevhen Geller.

The former MP suggests that soon the relations between the oligarch and the president may noticeably deteriorate.

"In short, the relations between Zelensky and Kolomoyskyi are not as straightforward as they may seem—and they may soon cool," emphasized Serhiy Leshchenko.
