“Grenade” with a note. Police opened a criminal case over threats to the Cherkasy mayor

In connection with threats to the Cherkasy mayor, a criminal case has been opened under Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, law enforcement officers are identifying the person's identity. This is reported by the Communications Sector of the Cherkasy region Police. As it became known, this morning the Cherkasy mayor Anatoliy Bondarenko received a report that in his mailbox he found an object resembling a grenade. A investigative-operational group, experts, a dog handler with a dog, and explosives technicians arrived at the scene.

During the inspection of the scene, it was established that the described object turned out to be the rusty body of a F-1 grenade, in which a note with threats was located. A criminal case has been opened under Article 350 (Threats or violence against a civil servant or a person performing a public duty) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
