Siumar did not share Prystayko with the “ES”

Viktoriia Siumar was the only member of parliament from the European Solidarity faction who voted for the dismissal of Vadym Prystaiko from the post of Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

The voting results on Prystaiko’s dismissal were published on the official Verkhovna Rada website.

During consideration of the relevant issue at the Rada session 24 the ES deputies abstained, one deputy was absent, and another did not vote. Meanwhile Viktoriia Siumar pressed the “for” button, thereby effectively showing her disagreement with the faction’s position on Prystaiko’s dismissal.

In total 296 parliamentarians voted for Prystaiko’s dismissal. The dismissal of the vice prime minister was supported by the Servant of the People and Opposition Platform — For Life factions, the Trust and For the Future groups, and some non-affiliated deputies.

The Batkivshchyna, Holos, and European Solidarity factions abstained during the vote.

Earlier media reported that Vadym Prystaiko could be dismissed due to disagreements on Ukrainian foreign policy issues that arose between him and Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak.
