The press secretary’s salary is over 46 thousand UAH; DUS leaders’ salaries are about 100 thousand UAH.

“The total amount of salary for the Press Secretary of the President of Ukraine, Yuliia Mendel, in March 2020 was 46 276 hryvnias,” the State Administration of Affairs responded.

Her official salary was 24,6 thousand hryvnias, bonuses and payments for the period of official business trips amounted to 11,8 thousand hryvnias, and the allowance for work intensity was 9,8 thousand hryvnias.

Taxes and fees withheld from their salaries ranged from 6,7 thousand to 9 thousand hryvnias, so the net payable amount was lower.

“The Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, was paid a salary of 41 965 hryvnias in March 2020,” the State Administration of Affairs said.

His official salary was 15,4 thousand hryvnias, allowances for work intensity and for working under restricted conditions were 15,3 thousand, and payments for official business trips, a bonus, and salary indexation totaled 11,3 thousand hryvnias.

First Deputy Head of the President’s Office Serhii Trofymov was paid 38,4 thousand hryvnias for March.

March salaries for Yermak’s deputies were: 41,9 thousand hryvnias – for Ihor Zhovkva; 35 thousand hryvnias – for Hanna Kovalenko; 34,4 thousand – for Kyrylo Tymoshenko; 34,3 thousand each – for Andrii Smyrnov and Yurii Kostiuk; 32,9 thousand – for Yuliia Kovaliv; and 10,2 thousand hryvnias – for Yuliia Sokolovska, appointed on 12 March.

Salaries are significantly higher at the State Administration of Affairs. According to DUS data, the salary of DUS Head Serhii Borzov in March was 90,6 thousand UAH, and his deputy, Serhii Prylypko, received 93,8 thousand UAH.
