“The chair has moved on”: Journalist predicted Ermak would face total ignoring from his “friends” after resignation

Journalist Svitlana Kryukova, on her Facebook page, reacted to the recent interview with the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, saying that it was “tainted with offense and disappointment” in people.

And there will come an understanding that all those “friends,” “partners,” “allies” were never really yours. They were next to the chair. And the chair moved on, without you.

Then gradually they will stop answering his calls.

And a little later, texts like “I’ll call you back,” “In the meeting,” “I’m on the highway — bad connection” will follow.

But in most cases Yermak will receive the mirrored version of what he himself used so often: a silent ignore on the other end of the line. And the feeling of a cold, piercing draft along the neck and shoulders, reminding of what was done, but not fully realized.
