Director of the city’s Volodymyr Market stubbornly refuses to show his declaration

The director of the municipal enterprise “Volodymyr Market” in the capital, Oleksandr Lytvyn, did not disclose his asset and income declaration for the 2015 year.

This is stated in the response from the director of the municipal enterprise “Volodymyr Market,” O. Lytvyn, to a request from “No Corruption!”.

According to the director, he will complete the asset and income declaration within the statutory period – by 1 April.

At the same time, the response does not at all mention publishing this document.

Note that municipal enterprises are legal entities of public law. And according to the requirement of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption,” officials of legal entities of public law are subjects of liability for corruption offenses.

They must also submit and keep asset and income declarations at their workplace. And furthermore – publish them in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information,” since “the information specified in the declaration on assets, income, expenses and financial liabilities, prepared in the form and manner established by the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Principles of Preventing and Combating Corruption,’ is not classified as information with restricted access.”

We add that, according to the outlet Prestupnosti.NET, the director of the Volodymyr Market, Oleksandr Lytvyn, is the nephew of the Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios. In addition, he has family ties with former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn.
