The party said 'we must' — Tkachenko replied that he knows better. This is the only way to explain why, contrary to the promises of the Servant of the People party, he does not drag into power his godfathers and relatives, the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko abuses his powers and appoints his friends and partners to positions.

Everyone remembers the Ze party's pre-election campaign? 'No promises, no forgiveness!' Perhaps it's time to answer for your words. The people of Ukraine are no longer ready to forgive a person who disgraces the ruling party and betrays the country's interests. A person who neglects laws and rules. It's time to answer for his actions as minister and for his appointments!

We propose to look at only a few examples, which are enough for charges of cronyism. Although, in reality, there are many more.

Since June 20 2020, Larisa Volodymyrivna Petasyuk has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. A competition was held for this position. And it is remarkable that she won the competition, as in 2017-2018 years she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Odesa Film Studio, of which at that time Alexander Tkachenko, now known to us, was co-owner. Moreover, Larisa Volodymyrivna was deputy head of the Secretariat of the parliamentary committee on humanitarian and information policy, which was chaired again by Alexander Tkachenko. An interesting fact is that at the time when Alexander Tkachenko became a co-owner of the Odesa Film Studio, Larisa Volodymyrivna was on the supervisory board of this enterprise, she also worked in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, heading the legal support department. No document would pass to privatization without her signature. Therefore, thanks to her help, as a result of her illegal actions and abuse of official powers, Tkachenko obtained the film studio. It is not surprising that now Mr. Tkachenko 'works off' the film studio, appointing Petasyuk to high positions.

Continuing. 12 August 2020, the cabinet of deputies of the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine was replenished by Taras Shevchenko. The same Taras who worked with Tkachenko on to the Law on Media, which caused a large amount of outrage among specialists. Then several journalists, media figures, and media experts even signed an appeal to the authorities to reject the bill, because it violates the right to freedom of speech guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine. However, for Mr. Tkachenko and his friend Taras Shevchenko, the Constitution is some book they have not even opened, not to mention studying. The main thing is to push through the laws they need and consider important, everything else is irrelevant.

And these are not all the newly appointed ministry staff by Tkachenko. Yes, news of the dismissal of the scandalous secretary of the Ministry of Culture Rostyslav Karandeyev had just subsided when Tkachenko found him a new position — First Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. Recall that Karandeyev is the very secretary who in December last year, in one month of work in the ministry, earned a salary of 497 thousand 709 hryvnias. In addition, Rostyslav Karandeyev is known for his illegal “games” with appointing leaders of the National Music Academy. By the way, perhaps they themselves have become friends with Tkachenko?

Let's move on. The position of director of the Kyiv State Choreographic College is no less tasty. And who do you think got it? Tkachenko's friend, the star of the channel 1+1 — Kateryna Kukhari. By what criteria this lady was chosen is unknown. After all, the position of director is not a stage performance, a couple of hours on air on a channel, or a nude photo shoot for a magazine in a bathtub with gold. It is painstaking work, requiring daily immersion in the process, making decisions that affect people's lives, it is the management of an institution whose history began in the far 1934 year. This college is an important part of Ukrainian culture, but friendly relations are much more important. So, Alexander Tkachenko? Therefore, 7 July Kateryna Kukhari was appointed acting director of the Kyiv State Choreographic College.

Tkachenko did not forget about his beloved 'Ukrkinochronika', on which, together with developer Vavryshev, they laid eyes and already planned how to use the land owned by the enterprise. And for this, what is needed? Correct — his own person as head. Therefore, 1 July the minister Tkachenko dismisses Alina Khoroshilova, who publicly stated about Tkachenko's desires and attempts to recognize Ukrkinochronika as bankrupt in order to grab such coveted lands, and appoints as head his longtime acquaintance, Volodymyr Avramenko. Volodymyr Andriyovych is well known in cafe circles for tennis courts located in the city center, which were destroyed precisely by Volodymyr Avramenko. So destroying the heritage of the Ukrainian people is not first time for him.

And the cherry on top — appointing as minister of culture Tkachenko's personal composition of the Expert Council under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for selecting film projects for state financial support for production and distribution of films with patriotic orientation.

Let us pause on a few of the 'experts' who were chosen by the well-known crony-sborne-priest principle.

By order of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine dated 21 August 2020 year No. 2057, the following personal composition of the Expert Council was approved:

Nataliya Vashko — a specialist in big data and social analytics, and a longtime friend of Sasha (that is how Nataliya refers to Minister Alexander Tkachenko in her interviews), who previously worked at the channel 1+1.

Lyubov KrohmALna — assistant-consultant to a Member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, and an employee of LLC 'INFORMATION AGENCY 'MEDIA RESOURCES MANAGEMENT', which in turn is controlled by LLC 'Film U E Y' and two companies registered in Cyprus. The favorite place of Tkachenko to conceal his income on offshore accounts.

Another Tkachenko friend's — Olga Panteleimonova. General Director of the Star Media Group and Director of LLC 'Star Media'.

In addition, two producers with 3 films to their name were invited to the Council. Probably Tkachenko has not yet learned the surnames of Ukrainian producers and directors with more significant achievements than his acquaintances. Therefore, among the Expert Council members you will find only Roman Martynenko and Oleksandr Nedbaiev.

And finally two more experts, whose relation to cinema is under big question not only for ordinary citizens.

Ruslan Shevchuk — head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, and Svitlana Pavlovska — assistant to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

It is worth reminding everyone, and first of all Alexander Tkachenko, that the Expert Council of the Ministry of Culture should consist of representatives of the industry from different spheres of film and TV production: creators, film producers, TV people, distributors, producers of series, animators, because combining different directions yields the most effective results.

And the current minister Tkachenko clearly selected the Expert Council in such a way that state financial support for production and distribution of films would go not to those truly deserving, but to those who have close ties with Tkachenko.

Thus ends a small excursion into Tkachenko's appointments in just three months in the minister's chair.
