Deputy Mayor of Luhansk Tkachenko No Longer Hides His Ties to Terrorists

The deputy mayor of Luhansk, Oleksandr Tkachenko, who has submitted his resignation, has already stopped concealing his direct involvement in actions of the militants from the terrorist organization the Luhansk People’s Republic. This is reported by Donbas. Thus, in an interview with the project Hear Luhansk, Tkachenko publicly demanded Kyiv to withdraw Ukrainian troops from Luhansk region and not to hinder local “princes” from continuing to exploit a people terrorized by bandits in the Luhansk region. He suggested that such authoritative figures in the region, such as Serhiy Horokhov, Volodymyr Medyanyk, Iuliy Ioffe, Volodymyr Pristyuk, Valeriy Halenko, and Oleksandr Yefremov, would not yield the region’s cheap labor under the “pernicious influence of the European community” without bloodshed.
