The mall turned into ruins – in Kryvyi Rih they showed the aftermath of the strike on "Sunny Gallery"

In Kryvyi Rih they showed what the Sunny Gallery shopping center looks like after the enemy attack. Footage shows that most of the building is completely destroyed; equipment is operating on site, rescue operations and cleanup from a double strike are ongoing.

As reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, as of 23 August 51 wounded remain in hospitals, including 14 children. Six of the injured are in extremely serious condition, including two children aged 10 and 16 years. This attack cut short the lives of 16 people.

Oleksandr Hanzha noted that the enemy struck the shopping center with two successive drone attacks, first hitting the building itself and then striking again when rescuers and police were already on site. That is why the number of injured and dead continued to rise over several days.

The aftermath of the attack is being cleared

The emergency rescue operation in Kryvyi Rih is still not complete. The Office of the Prosecutor General has opened a criminal case on the war crime committed by Russia. Law enforcement is recording the strike’s consequences and documenting evidence for further investigation of the attack on a civilian facility.

Earlier, Informator reported that the number of victims of the Russian Federation attack had risen to 14 dead and 121 injured, including 22 child, and 29 of the injured were in serious condition. We also wrote that the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, called the strike on the Kryvyi Rih mall evidence that Russia could carry out a similar attack on virtually any city in the country, not only those near the frontline.
