Former Head of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation Shevchenko Moved to Montenegro but Still Maintains Control of “B.M.K.-Bilding” and the River Side Land Plots

Kyrylo Shevchenko, who moved to Montenegro, still illegally controls land plots and the LLC B.M.K.-Building, which he unlawfully seized in 2020 year with the help of forged documents.

The LLC B.M.K.-Building was created to implement the River Side project on the Desna riverbank within the Ohatyn village council of Vyshhorod district, with involvement of foreign investors from Switzerland. Shevchenko made efforts to appropriate these investments. This was reported by former vice-president of the Kyiv City Boxing Federation, vice-president of the NGO Integration and a member of the board of the NGO Protection and Help, Volodymyr Mikulenko.

According to Mikulenko, in 2019 year Shevchenko jointly with Rostyslav HrekuI (note: original transliteration: Hreukul) formed an organized crime group whose aim was to seize River Side, which at that time belonged to a group of Swiss investors and Mikulenko V.O. himself.

A prerequisite for this seizure was another fraud that Shevchenko carried out together with foreign citizen Maor Hemmo. Over several years they deposited funds from Swiss investors, including Marc Rich Real Estate, into bank accounts of the Cypriot company G.L.U. LIMITED, allegedly for financing the project, and embezzled them. In total about 40 million dollars were siphoned off.

In his activities Shevchenko often cloaks himself in the name of Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko, with whom he allegedly maintains friendly relations. Earlier there was information that Shevchenko “covers” illegal trade in underground passages and carries out a hostile takeover of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation. Mikulenko, despite complaints from foreign investors, including about intimidation of their representative in Kyiv, believes that these rumors are most likely spread by Shevchenko himself to inflate his importance and discredit the Kyiv city mayor.

Mikulenko notes that in 2019 year Shevchenko together with associates — Rostyslav HrekuI, Dmytro Karauschenko, Vitaliy Kulyk, and others — developed a scheme of illegal seizure of River Side property: companies, land, funds, and electric power capacities.

In January 2020 year Shevchenko through Vitaliy Kulyk, acting on behalf of the director of LLC River Garden, carried out a hostile takeover of the right to electrical capacity 2,5 MW, which belonged to LLC B.M.K.-Building. For this Kulyk used forged extracts from the state register and documents with a fake signature of Volodymyr Mikulenko, and subsequently illegally registered the right to this capacity under LLC River Garden.

Then Kyrylo Shevchenko together with Rostyslav HrekuI appropriated land plots on the Desna bank near the village of Oseshchyna, where a cottage town was to be built. In November 2020 year Shevchenko K.V., Kulyk V.O., Smertenko S.Ya. together with other participants of the organized crime group, using forged documents of notary KMNO Kaplun Yu.V., illegally seized the corporate rights of LLC Prozrenia.

Also at that time Shevchenko, with the participation of other persons, committed the embezzlement of a land plot of 1,96 hectares belonging to LLC Vyshgorod Invest Plus. Using his official position and without the consent of the participant Mikulenko V.O., he received more than 1,5 million dollars in cash, causing substantial harm to the enterprise and Mikulenko V.O.

In December Shevchenko and HrekuI (through a close relative and other related persons) using forged documents lawfully and free of charge acquired ownership of land plots totaling 36,05 hectares that belonged to LLC B.M.K.-Building and LLC Prozrenia. After this, together with notary KMNO Ignatov D.V., they, using a forged power of attorney from the already liquidated Cypriot company Konofix Limited (which granted no powers), carried out a hostile takeover of the leadership of LLC River Holding and LLC B.M.K.-Building.
