“The overseer” of Kyiv Komarnytsky devised a cunning plan to oust Klychko from the mayor’s chair

Former associate of ex-Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky, Denys Komarnytsky, whom people call an “overseer” along with Mykola Tyshchenko, is trying to balance between Mayor Klychko and the Office of the President.

This is reported by the Telegram channel Zelandia, as relayed by ECHO of Kyiv.

It is reported that Komarnytsky resorts to interesting methods of influencing the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) and the Office of the President.

“How effectively Komarnytsky performs the functions of an ‘overseer’ is eloquently shown by the fact that he conspires with Klychko against Bankova, and with Bankova against Klychko,” the report says.

In turn, Servant of the People MP Oleksandr Dubinsky confirmed this information.

At the moment, Komarnytsky’s sphere of influence lacks a strong enough candidate who could neutralize Klychko, so he is forced to pursue a flexible policy.

Note that earlier Servant of the People MP and figure in the Velur restaurant scandal Mykola Tyshchenko denied the existence of “overseers” in Kyiv.

In his words, the word “overseer” does not exist in his team’s lexicon and the new authorities are against that term. He emphasized that he came to power only to change the country for the better and all accusations on this matter are “scare stories.”

Emphasize that a few days earlier the Telegram channel “Joker” published photos of a meeting between Mykola Tyshchenko and Denys Komarnytsky, confirming a connection between them. An audio recording was also released in which Komarnytsky threatens a Kyiv City Council deputy with an SBI investigation to lobby construction projects.
