The SBU special unit Alpha guards Denis Komarnitsky, a businessman involved in corruption schemes related to construction in Kyiv

This was stated by Geo Leros, a deputy from the Servant of the People, on his Facebook page, as reported by DS.

"Before the shredder could cool after documents were destroyed during the SBU search on Muzeynyi Lane in the case of embezzlement of billions by Komarnitsky's company EcoBudTrade, information appeared that Yermak helped the special unit SBU Alpha to guard the capital's main crook," he wrote.

"Andriy Borisovych, it seems we had different visions for the country's future. I am addressing the head of the SBU with a request to confirm or deny the information about the guard of Komarnitsky by the Alpha special unit, and in case of confirmation to explain the grounds for the SBU Alpha guarding the capital's main crook, which is a violation of the law," the deputy emphasized.

As a reminder, in August 2019 year the court allowed the National Police access to items and documents of the Kyiv City State Administration's structural subdivisions with the possibility of seizing their originals. The police were interested in the construction of a section of the Big Ring Road from Rokossovsky Street to Bogatyrska Street. The criminal proceeding concerned signs of offense under Article "P art appropriation, misappropriation or theft of property by abusing one's official position, committed repeatedly or by a group of persons in particularly large sizes."

As stated in the investigative materials, the expected contract value for the construction works was 375,6 million UAH. The winner of the bidding was announced as Eco-Bud-Trade LLC, the price during the bidding decreased to 325,914 million UAH.

Soon the Kyiv City State Administration issued a new order to adjust the project, as a result the cost of constructing a section of length 1,8 km rose to 1,125 billion UAH.

During the pre-trial investigation at the construction site an inspection was conducted. As a result, investigators found that no construction or preparatory work had been carried out there.
