Artist-MP who exposed the "Yermak Tapes" and became involved in a scandal over state funds for murals

His real name is Gevorg Bagratovich Kurehyan; the pseudonym Leros is taken from his mother's surname. His father, Bagrat Kurehyan, is Armenian and owner of the private enterprise "Tekhnobudtrans." He graduated from the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine (international law). Art curator, director, founder of the NGO "City-Art" and the project Art United Us — about 70 murals across Ukraine. From June 24, 2019, to March 20, 2020 — non-staff advisor to President Zelensky. Member of Parliament of the IX convocation from the "Servant of the People" party (No. 23 on the list). Dismissed from the presidential administration and expelled from the party faction after a public conflict: he opposed Yermak's idea of a consultative council with representatives of ORDLO in Minsk and also published the "Yermak Tapes" — recordings where the brother of the Head of Office trades state positions.

3.6 million UAH in state funds for murals, accusations of embezzlement, and shift to opposition against the Bankova

Even before the Yermak scandal, Leros was accused of misappropriating state funds: 3.6 million UAH were allocated for purchasing murals for the "More than us" project, but the details of expenses and results remained non-transparent. From 2020 to 2024, he remained an independent MP, regularly exposing corruption in the "Great Construction" program and dubious personnel appointments via YouTube channel. Since 2023 — without official positions, engaged in public activities.
