Law enforcement agencies have uncovered three serving servicemen of the Separate Assault Brigade who are suspected of organizing a provocation against the former commander of a battalion of one of the Separate Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. За даними слідства, у ніч із 27 на 28 серпня 2026 року троє військовослужбовців проникли до автомобіля екскомбата, який був припаркований біля його будинку. Усередині транспортного засобу вони залишили розфасовані у зіп-пакети наркотичні та психотропні речовини.

Після цього фігуранти повідомили правоохоронців і представників Військової служби правопорядку про нібито наявність заборонених речовин в автомобілі.

Коли колишній командир батальйону поїхав на власному транспорті, підозрювані продовжили спостереження за ним та передавали інформацію про його пересування.

У Харкові автомобіль зупинили працівники поліції. Під час огляду транспортного засобу були виявлені наркотичні засоби та психотропні речовини, які, за даними слідства, раніше підклали підозрювані.

Наразі трьом військовослужбовцям оголошено підозру за низкою статей Кримінального кодексу України:

ч. 2 ст. 372 КК України — підбурення до притягнення завідомо невинної особи до кримінальної відповідальності.

Також правоохоронці готують клопотання до суду щодо обрання підозрюваним запобіжного заходу у вигляді тримання під вартою. Процесуальне керівництво у справі здійснює Офіс Генерального прокурора.
