The government has suspended the head of the Maritime Administration from performing duties

Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Serhiy Hurskyi.

The Cabinet of Ministers suspended Serhiy Hurskyi from the duties of the head of the Navigation Administration.

This was reported by the Ministry for Reconstruction.

According to the agency, disciplinary proceedings were opened against Hurskyi.

“During the disciplinary proceedings, Serhiy Hurskyi is suspended from performing official duties. The duties of the head of the Navigation Administration are assigned to Serhiy Maksymov. The basis for the response was information about possible violations in the work of the head of the Navigation Administration Serhiy Hurskyi, particularly in the fields of organizing navigation and mariner training. The disclosed facts and statements require proper verification and legal assessment,” stated the Ministry for Reconstruction.

The disciplinary proceedings will be conducted by the Commission on the Higher Civil Service Corps.

Its results should be reported to the government by 23 October.

In addition, the Ministry for Reconstruction has appealed to law enforcement authorities to check the disclosed information and provide a legal assessment of possible violations.
