Currency rates 13 September 2026: how much the dollar, euro and zloty cost

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) published the official exchange rates for the morning of Sunday, 13 September 2026. Compared with 12 September, the rates for the dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty and Swiss franc did not change. This was reported by “Glavkom.”

The regulator set the official dollar rate at 44,64, the euro at 51,76 UAH, and the Polish zloty at 12,04 UAH.

Over the week the US dollar, euro, Polish zloty, British pound sterling and Swiss franc became cheaper.

Recall, the National Bank of Ukraine approved a major update of rules for the insurance sector. The regulator revised the authorization procedure for insurance intermediaries in the specialized Register and also adjusted requirements for the sale of insurance and reinsurance products. The innovations are intended to remove bureaucratic obstacles, resolve existing practical difficulties and significantly reduce administrative pressure on business.

By the way, on 4 September the National Bank of Ukraine introduced into cash circulation a banknote with a denomination of 2 thousand UAH. The NBU links its introduction to changes in the economy and the structure of cash circulation. NBU Chair Andriy Pyshny previously explained that the need for a new denomination arose due to a combination of economic changes. In particular, over recent years household incomes, prices and the amount of cash in circulation have increased.

As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine approved a new package of regulatory decisions to support lending to enterprises and local communities amid intensified Russian attacks on critical, social and production infrastructure. The new rules came into force on 5 September 2026.
