MP-turned-prisoner Oleksandr Dubinsky has complained about poor internet in a prison in Chernihiv region.

Member of Parliament Oleksandr Dubinsky is currently behind bars in Makoshyn, in the local prison. As a reminder, he is suspected of treason and participation in a criminal organization that was overseen by the Russian intelligence service (GRU).

Nevertheless, Dubinsky wants to participate in meetings of the Ukrainian Parliament's Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy. This concerns online meetings.

For the first time in a long while, the deputy was able to join committee meetings remotely in August this year—via Zoom from the prison. However, due to a non-working microphone, he could not take part in the discussions.

But in September the deputy wrote that it was not possible to participate in the committee's work at all. He conveyed this in his characteristic blunt Telegram channel.

“The head of the Mensky Corrective Colony, where I am being held without a verdict, Bondarenko—has spoiled yet another, already 6-ted, participation in the Finance Committee meeting.

This time the guard’s fantasy didn’t match wits, so yet again the internet “disappeared.” The servile “sluts” and their hand-picked bureaucrats didn’t want to listen to the truth about what is happening in the country at the committee meeting.”

The prison has not yet responded to this statement. The latest post on DUB’s social networks is devoted to social work with veteran inmates.
