An assailant attacked a priest during a service in a Lviv church

20 September at about 10:00 in Lviv, where a man recently stabbed a serviceman of the Territorial Center of Command during mobilization activities, an unknown person during the morning liturgy attacked a priest with a knife in the Church of Saints Volodymyr and Olha. The 35-year-old man with mental disorders attempted to disrupt the service but was stopped by the priest and parishioners, who later handed him over to the police, the Lviv region police reported. The man was taken to a specialized medical facility. Law enforcement is establishing all the circumstances of the incident. According to the priest, there was no conflict between him and the man; it was an unprovoked attack. Recall that in Lviv the city mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, was doused with an unidentified liquid.
