Odesa region will be left without gas: where outages will occur

In Ovidiopol and several villages in the Odesa region there will be no gas for almost three weeks. Gas supply will be cut off on 28 September due to work on the networks. Restoration will begin only from 19 October. For reconnection residents must be present and meet a number of conditions. In particular, documents, payment for services, and the condition of gas networks and equipment will be checked.

Outages in Ovidiopol

Due to the shutdown of the Ovidiopol gas distribution station and work on high- and low-pressure gas pipelines, gas supply in Ovidiopol will be suspended on 28 September. The following will also be left without gas:

village Baraboy;

village Bohatyrivka;

village Kalahliya;

village Mykolaivka;

garden association “Rostok”;

garden association “Dnistrovets”;

garden association “Prybrezhny”;

garden association “Alpha”;

garden association “Chaika”.

Gas supply restoration will begin from 19 October 2026. It is possible on the condition of 100% subscriber presence and compliance with safety requirements. During restoration they will check for a valid contract for the technical maintenance of in-building gas networks and equipment, absence of debt under that contract and for gas distribution services. It is forbidden to restore gas supply independently.

Where else there will be no gas

In Ananiv gas supply will be temporarily suspended from 09:00 22 September to 09:00 28 September due to welding work on the low-pressure gas pipeline and repair of electrically insulating flanges. Restrictions will affect houses on the streets:

Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street,

Himnaziina Street,

Leonid Kadenyuk Street,

Anton Korbe Street,

Pirogov Street.

And also in the lanes:

Ukrainian Rescuers Lane,

Ananiv Uprising Lane,

Piddubnyi Lane.

Gas supply is expected to start approximately from 09:00 28 September. For this, residents must be present and allow Ananiv UEGG employees access to gas equipment. They will also check maintenance contracts, the presence of debts, the condition of gas pipelines, and ventilation and flue channels.

Outages in Odesa

In Odesa on 24 September from 06:00 to 18:00 gas will be temporarily suspended due to work on a medium-pressure gas pipeline at the intersection of Bolharska Street and Vysokyi Lane. Gas supply will be restricted at a number of addresses on the following streets:

Bolharska,

Boltenka,

Vodoprovidna,

Baseina,

Serednyofontanska,

Miasoyidivska,

Mechnikov,

6-th Baseiny Lane

Oleksiivska Square.

Gas tariff

Note that the price of gas for household customers of Naftogaz in Odesa will not change. Consumers will pay 7,96 UAH per cubic meter including VAT. The fixed tariff will be in effect until 30 April 2027, so the price in October will remain at the same level.

Separately, consumers pay for gas distribution. For household customers of Odesagaz during martial law the tariff is 1,308 UAH per cubic meter including VAT. This fee is calculated based on the annual contracted capacity and distributed over 12 months. Because of this, distribution charges may be applied even in months when gas was barely used or not used at all.

As Novyny.LIVE reported, in October 2026 the cost of electricity for household consumers in Odesa will remain unchanged. The price will be 4,32 UAH per kWh. At the same time, owners of two-tariff meters can save on electricity consumption at night.

Novyny.LIVE also wrote that in Odesa in October 2026 updated tariffs for centralized water supply and wastewater disposal will continue to apply. They began to be applied from mid-August. For household consumers the total cost of the two services exceeds 65 hryvnias per cubic meter including VAT.
